Therapy for Teens
Teens (16+) – Adolescent Growth & Resilience Therapy
For many teenagers, the journey through adolescence is fraught with challenges. They may be grappling with issues like identity exploration, academic pressure, social dynamics, or family conflicts. The rapid physical, emotional, and mental changes during these years can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. Teens might also struggle with body image concerns, bullying, or navigating the complexities of social media and online interactions.
As a therapist, I offer a safe, understanding space where teenagers can feel heard and validated. My approach is to build trust and rapport, encouraging open communication while respecting their individuality and privacy. I use age-appropriate strategies to help them develop coping mechanisms, improve self-esteem, and navigate their unique challenges. Together, we work towards fostering resilience, self-understanding, and healthy emotional expression.
